In 1862 Armand Roger and Charles Gallet created the Parfumerie Roger & Gallet and purchased the "House of Jean Marie Farina." Roger & Gallet's signature round soaps in pleated silk paper were introduced in 1879. In the 1930's, Roger & Gallet was known for its beautiful art deco packaging. Over the years, Roger & Gallet has created soaps, lotions, bath gels, perfumes and colognes that are eagerly sought-after by connoisseurs around the globe.
